Whether it is for party invitations, birth announcements, or holiday cards, I have always enjoyed picking out and printing stationery for my own personal use. However, after the birth of my first child I found that shopping for stationery was quite a challenge as he did not appreciate browsing through the many options and selecting the perfect one nearly as much as I did, so I quickly learned to shop on-line during his nap times. Having always had a career prior to children, I decided to combine the use of the internet and my little paper habit and thus, A Paper Occasion was established in May 2007!

Shipping: Orders are shipped to customers by UPS. Shipping and handling fees are calculated using UPS OnLine® Tools and will vary depending on the total weight of the order, shipping method selected as well as the validated shipping address.
Items mailed directly to the customer’s recipient list will be mailed using USPS First Class Mail.
Blank Stock Orders - Blank stock orders generally ship within 1-3 business days depending on stock availability. For items that are not in stock, blank stock orders generally ship within 3-5 business days.
Custom Printed Orders - Custom printed orders generally ship within 1-3 business days after the approval of the proof. For items that are not in stock, custom printered orders generally ship within 3-5 business days after the approval of the proof.
Proofs for Custom Printed Orders: A proof will be provided for customer approval prior to printing for all custom printed orders. Proofs will be sent to customers via an email attachment within 1-3 business days of the order. The proof will give the customer the chance to review and approve the spelling, wording, font, and layout that will appear on the custom printed order. Upon approval of the proof the customer agrees that the order is ready to print.
Refunds, Returns and Cancellations: Customer orders can be refunded, returned and cancelled according to the following:
Blank Stock Orders - Blank stock orders can be returned within 14 days of the purchase. Returned orders are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Shipping on returns is the responsibility of the customer.
Custom Printed Orders - Custom printed orders cannot be returned. Proofs will be provided for approval prior to printing. Upon approval of the proof the customer agrees that the order is ready to print.
Cancelled Orders - Custom printed orders can be cancelled at no additional charge at any time prior to the creation of the proof. If the order is cancelled after the creation of the proof, there will be a $8.00 charge for the proof. If the order is cancelled after the approval of the proof, there will be a $8.00 charge for the proof plus any additional charges for items that have already been printed. Blank stock orders can be cancelled at any time prior to shipping.
